Well, I don’t really know what to say yes to but guess the first thing that came into my mind was my patience. So yeah, I’ll stick to that. I’m saying YES to becoming more patient in terms of many things in my life. Rushing is my more-often-than-not cause of downfalls and mistakes. So yeah, I guess I’ll be waiting…
- Paul Simon
One thing I would really like to say yes to is acceptance. Not from others but from myself. Maybe it’s just because I have some kind of inferiority complex which wouldn’t go away even if I kick it out…but, yeah, it’s something that I’d love to say yes to.

As I read through the dreams others have posted, I noticed that every one of them seems to be *at least* a little bit unrealistic. There may be some things that ground them to reality but there is always that little abnormality that breaks the illusion and makes you realize that you are, in fact, dreaming. (queue Inception background music)
It’s a bit different for me though. When I sleep, it’s usually “deep-sleep”, the term used to describe both your body and brain shutting down to rest, instead of “REM-sleep”, the term used when your brain is still active while you sleep, allowing you to dream. Scientific facts aside, I can sadly say that I don’t dream often but when I do dream it’s either so blatantly obvious, to the point that I can still feel my pillow on my head even though I’m supposed to be flying through space, or extremely vivid, where, when I wake up, I’m not sure if I was dreaming or living out a past memory.
This was a problem I had when I was trying to recall what my last dream was (two weeks straight of dreamless sleep, right here). I eventually decided on one of my happier dreams which was just me and my friends chilling and having fun. I honestly would have mistaken this for another highschool memory if it wasn’t for those small abnormalities I mentioned earlier, like the fact that I have no idea what we’re talking about or that things would suddenly shift, like the area or the friends I’m with. It was in order too: it’ll start in our classroom during lunch and I’m chilling with my friends Vito DeCastro, Luis Sarmenta and Jag Conception; next it’s in the cafeteria, still lunch, with Zeid Nuno, Gio Regala and Caloy Rivera; finally it’s in the Nihong-Dan org. room, after class hours, with Andoy Santiago, Luigi Calderon and RJ “Slam” Bueno. Other then that though, there is absolutely nothing bizarre or random going on here, it was just life at it’s simplest.
The interwebz interprets me and my friends having a good time as everyone being in good health or that good news is coming soon. It also interprets that the setting of highschool represents a big turning point in my life. I can’t argue with this since I honestly think it’s true but I feel that it’s missing the main point of the dream which is that these were the times I was truly happy and I miss them.
Time has a way of creating wounds, like me and some of my friends going our separate ways or having to leave some of my friends behind, but it also has the uncanny ability to heal them; I have since made new friends, still keep in touch with the old ones and still dream about the time we’ve spent together. It’s sad that the only way I can relive these happy times is through my dreams but the mere reason that they are dreams means that these experiences are close to my heart and something I’ll never forget. I guess I’ll just let the words of Calvin and Hobbes speak for themselves: “I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each others dreams, we can play together all night.”

I was in prison.
I’m happy with my inmates. We seem to be singing a song in Disney’s Pocahontas in the cafeteria. Someone called for me and I found myself answering a phone. The part of the phone you put near your ear is just a screw but the voice on the other side was still audible. I was trying not to rattle the screw much because it hurt my ear.
The caller was my neighbor in my real house. Her name is Lola Nena. She seems to be calling for Dr. Leong Lim. Then, I remembered that my high school friends and I made a fake ad of some doctor named Leong Lim…only with correct contact info.
I tried to bluff her but I felt guilty and I introduced myself and explained everything. Turns out that Lola Nena has already turned to many doctors for hope to cure her father.
This Dr. Leong Lim was her last hope.
Guilt.
Sadness.
Sunlight.
It was just a dream.

Anyway, the dream means that(as interpreted by www.dreamforth.com).. Im being haunted by some memories or unpleasant experiences in the past, or some feeling that still haunts me… Ooohh!! Creepy(anyway, i should be moving on right now..!!)!!

In the dream, I saw a friend of mine walking down the hallway. In real life, this dude’s a nice guy, easy to talk to, and rather muscular. I pass by him and we say hi. Starts off pretty normally, right?
Along the door of that hallway is a door, and the person who comes out is the same dude, but dressed in drag. He’s wearing girl clothes. Now, while this dream was going on, I couldn’t tell that this was actually the same dude. I realized this only when I woke up. To clarify, there are three people in the scene now. Me, my muscular friend dressed in guy clothes, and my muscular friend dressed in drag. Like a clone. But he wasn’t a clone. I will refer to guy-clothes dude as Dude A, and drag-dressed dude as Dude B. Moving on.
Dude B looks at me with anxiety on his face. A sense of urgency. He’s panicking. He tells me not to tell anyone that he a Dude A are together. That their relationship’s a secret. A teacher suddenly comes into the scene and their eyes become shifty and pretend the exchange of information never happened. I forgot the rest of the dream.
I can’t find a dream interpretation for homosexuality or being gay in general that does not apply to me. I’m bisexual in real life, but that wasn’t the main focus of the dream. It was on my friend. If I were the homosexual in the dream, that would mean that I have feelings of uneasiness, regarding my relationships with the opposite sex.
Dreaming of a hallway represents a journey. The discovery of my “unknown true desires.” And changes in emotional aspects as well.
Dreaming of a teacher means I need advice about my life, especially regarding the parts of my life that are changing. Can’t argue there.
Dreaming about friends means there are parts of my character willing to come out. Dude. Everything’s coming together. Everything’s making sense. THIS IS CRAZY. I have to interpret my dreams more often.

Even in my dreams, MATH haunts me. :|
My dreams are usually blurry right after I wake up, there are a lot more to them, I am sure, but so far this is what I recall of my latest dream:
I was in a scary asylum-like building, preparing for a math test (midterms I think) with a lot of other people. I got lost in finding my way around and even lost my bag in the process. While I was looking for the room I’m supposed to take the test in, I stumbled upon a filthy replica of my bag under a table. The rest got a little blurry, I assumed I was able to take the test. Right after, there was a fancy batch reunion with my HS schoolmates separated into three ballrooms. In order to find out your assigned room, you must solve an equation first. I tried solving it mentally but could not get it right. I instead entered all three ballrooms. Seeing my friends with mingling with other people and feeling left out in all three ballrooms, I left shortly after. I proceeded to look for other rooms but instead ended up being lost once again, this time in a dark hallway.
Meanings:
ASYLUM -To dream that you are at an asylum suggests that you are feeling tremendous mental strain and are trying to reach out for help. You are acknowledging your need for help.
MATH - To dream about mathematics, indicate that you are evaluating a situation in your waking life where you need to be more rational in your thinking. Try not to act on your emotions.
- To dream that you are unable to solve a mathematical problem or equation, parallels a waking problem where you may be confused about. The dream may offer a hint toward a new approach to this waking problem. Something does not add up in your life.
BAG - To see a bag in your dream, represents the responsibilities that you carry. If the bag is ripped or torn, then it indicates that you are carrying a lot of burden. The symbol may be a metaphor for an “old bag” and refer to someone who is old.
TABLE - To see a table in your dream represents social unity and family connections. If the table is broken, wobbly or not functional, then it suggests some dissension in a group. It may also refer to a sense of insecurity. Perhaps there is something you cannot hold inside any longer and need to bring it out in the open.
TEST - To dream that you are taking a test indicates that you are being put to the test or being scrutinized in some way. If you fail the test, then it suggests that you are feeling inadequate or insecure about some aspect of your waking life. If you ace the test, then it means that you are prepared and ready for the task at hand. There is also the notion that if you visualize success, than you will achieve success. Thus, this dream may be a “practice exercise” for you to visualize success in your real life. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on “feeling testy” and irritated.
HALLWAY - To see a hallway in your dream, symbolizes self exploration. It is the beginning of the path that you are taking in life. You are going through a transitional phase and journeying into the unknown. It also signals spiritual enlightenment, emotional growth physical prowess, new opportunities and mental passages in your life.

This is probably not the weirdest dream I ever had, but it’s still quite weird.(The picture is how the passageway looked like.)
At first, I passed by a certain road repeatedly. When I was going to pass by it one more time, there was a wall and the road turned into a water passage. I thought that there was something strange about it, so I decided to investigate (I guess this means I watch too much Detective Conan. xD). Looking around the area, I found some people whose faces I can’t remember. They told me about the people behind the creation of the passageway. However, this passageway is the cause of several deaths – especially those of children who still try to use that route to get to school or home.
“Stop bothering us and just leave. Nothing you say will make me want to put a road here again.”
I saw this tall woman who had wavy red hair. She didn’t match the other people I found in my dream because unlike them, she was dressed formally. I decided to leave but I returned a while later (without her knowledge of course) and found her talking to someone. He was telling her to make me stop coming here, and that they will not tolerate any further investigations about the place. Strangely, I knew that there was something wrong with the waterway but I just couldn’t place my finger on it.
I decided to look around once more because I was really curious.
Suddenly, I fell in the water.
I found that I became smaller than I already was…and I turned into a red haired(I don’t know what’s up with people that have red hair in my dreams…they’re just there. XD) boy who was I think at around the age of ten or twelve. When the woman saw me, she embraced me. During the embrace, I could see her body changing into that of a boy – one that looked exactly like the boy I turned into.
I remembered that there were bodies in the water.
Instantly, I knew that she or he was somehow changed by the passageway, and that she was originally the red haired boy I became.
Apparently, I found his body and now, since I’ve lost mine in the water, I have to borrow his previous form (that of the woman) to look for mine.
And then I woke up.

Here are the meanings of some words related to this dream according to dreamforth.com:
To dream about barbed wire signifies barriers. You may have a hard time expressing yourself.
To dream that you are trapped in barbed wire means that you feel hemmed in and confined in some way.
To dream of water can have many different meanings. On the surface, it represents your emotions. However, water can also be symbolic of your life force, chi, and psyche. Other meanings include a search for knowledge, spirituality, or comfort. You could need for relief from hunger or thirst.
Boiling water indicates that you are currently not in complete control of your emotions. Some previously repressed emotions may soon surface; be sure you are prepared to deal with them.
Cool, clear, calm water is an indication that your spirituality brings you great peace. You have come to a place of acceptance about your spirituality and self. Conversely, muddy water is an indication that it is time to clear your head. Get rid of excess baggage like negative thoughts and emotions. If you don’t, you will not be able to find the peace.
Muddy water may also be meant to show you that your thought process is clouded and unclear. You are not making the best decisions right now. If you are in the dirty water, there is a situation in your waking life that is simply too much for you to handle. You need to admit you are in over your head and simply ask for help.
To dream that water is flooding up and over your home is an indication that you can not find peace with your emotions. You are afraid to face your inner feelings and will continue to struggle until you do so.
Finally, a dream in which you walk on water is an indication of your inner control over emotions. This is not always a good thing. You may feel the need to always be in control and as a result, may rarely let your true emotions show. Conversely, it may indicate a strong belief in oneself.
To dream of a road represents life goals and direction.
To see a zigzag, curvy, or bumpy road in your dream symbolizes a similar life path ahead, particularly of a life journey filled with hurdles and setbacks. You may bump into sudden challenges down the road.
To dream of a dark road suggests gloomy and even frightening decisions you might make.
To dream of seeing a smooth road bordered by lush green and flowers embodies consistent improvement and a steady progression up the social ladder. If the road is straight and narrow, then it denotes a well-crafted strategic plan.
To dream of seeing an unknown road foretells struggles with a new endeavor. Perhaps the task at hand will bring more frustration than satisfaction. It may turn out to be a waste of time.
To dream that a threatening creature is on a road symbolizes an antagonistic situation or person you face in your waking life. It is an obstacle that you need to conquer despite the difficulties presented.

(Just to be clear, I wasn’t talking like Forrest Gump in my actual dream, haha.)
To explain this—the most recent dream that I can vividly remember had me walking underneath this long, low trellis. Suddenly all these worms came out of it and started defying gravity by jumping (I know right) in and out of the trellis. If that didn’t make sense to you—imagine a bazillion dolphins leaping out of the water.
Except they’re worms.
And they’re doing it upside down about two feet above your head.
So naturally I ran around screaming HO SHI HO SHI THERE ARE WORMS FALLING FROM THE SKY and then I woke up.
According to the dream dictionary, seeing worms means that I have a low opinion of either myself or people I know.
By extension, seeing jumping worms, then, means that I have a low opinion of people I know who jump around a lot?
Yeah, I think I’ll just attribute this one to Too Much Bio Lec and call it a night.
Love,
Stef T.
A tsunami warning. That’s what I dreamt about last night. Somehow I was alerted that there would be an impending tsunami that would hit the coast of wherever I was at that time. Funny how everything seemed to be so calm. In the face of a gigantic wave, the people on the coast were just slowly walking away. Like they didn’t care. Like they didn’t understand. Somehow I was calm too. I didn’t even move from where I was standing. I just watched. I just waited. Then, I don’t know how, I felt the tsunami approach. I looked behind me and saw a huge swell rushing towards the coast. Again, like everything in the dream, it was calm. The water was clear and the sky was bright. I felt the water crash onto me and then suddenly I was in my grandparent’s home. It was bright again. I was sitting outside on the white porch swings. I went inside and started looking for my grandparents, but realized that they weren’t there. The only person sitting inside the living room was my sister. She was relaxing on my grandfather’s favorite armchair. Suddenly, little sharks started popping out of nowhere. They were snapping and squirming, but my sister and I just avoided them. My dream ended there.
This is the interpretation that I got from the internet
Tsunami - To dream of a tsunami signals you’re being easily overwhelmed by unresolved feelings. You may be experiencing sadness and emotional stress in your waking life.
Calm - To dream that you are calm implies that you are perfectly comfortable with the direction that your life is heading. No matter how much or how little you own, you are completely gratified. You don’t require an extensive amount of material possessions to be happy.
To dream that someone is trying to calm your down is an indication that you may face many hardships if you fail to keep your negative emotions under check.
Grandparents - To dream that you are looking for your grandparents suggests that you seek out affection and security in your life. You could be slipping back into childhood desires.
Shark - To dream of a shark symbolizes a ruthless and corrupt individual who is only concerned about himself and disregards the needs of others. The shark may also represent these same aspects of your own character. Perhaps you are experiencing a stage in your life of great distress and anguish. The shark represents harsh emotions such as rage, aggression, and violence. These feelings may harm the mental well-being of yourself and those around you.
